How To Receive Christ
The good news of the Gospel from God's Word provides a way of salvation through the free gift of His Grace. Salvation through faith in Jesus with eternal life. The following scriptures tell us what we must do to receive this free gift.
Acknowledge "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". - Romans 3:23 "God be merciful to me a sinner". - Luke 18:13
Repent "Except ye repent, you shall all likewise perish". - Luke 13:3 "Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out". - Acts 3:19
Confess "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". - 1 John 1:9 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved". Romans 10:9
Forsake "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD...for He will abundantly pardon". - Isaiah 55:7
Believe "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John 3:16 "He that believes and is baptized shall be save; but he that believes not shall be damned". - Mark 16:16
Receive "He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name". - John 1:11-12
As a former Freemason my passion for truth and freedom comes from what He has set me free from. Richard Bennett, a former Roman Catholic priest, once believed that there was no salvation outside of the Roman Catholic Church. Having been set free in Jesus, Richard also has a passion to speak truth to darkness. I have been greatly enriched with renewed appreciation of the sacrifice God provided through His Son after reading what Richard has to share. God's Grace is one of Richard's passions.
