TO THE CHURCH

Evans Nicholson, founding Director of Choosing Truth Ministries, is an    ex-Mason who has been set free through God's grace. Evans knows that God loves the Mason, the Shriners, Elks and the members of all of the groups affiliated with Freemasonry. Many Masons are community leaders and civic minded people with a desire to help others. Many are involved in charity work and active in the church.  

Unfortunately Masonic rituals and its blood oaths are designed to bring about covenant relationship with darkness to supercede all other covenants including even the marriage vows.  Blindfolded in a pajama type attire with a noose hung around his neck, his wedding ring has been removed. 

Having been ‘properly prepared' his conductor leads him to the inner lodge door where with a knock the Worshipful Master calls out, "Who goes there?" His conductor responds, " ______, who has long been in darkness now seeks the light that our ancient fraternal order can bestow upon him".  With a simple acknowledgment to these words the Christian has agreed that he doesn't have the indwelling light of Jesus; the Word, the Truth, the Light of this world within him. 

He is forbidden to share any of what he has done with his wife or any other non-Mason now referred to as being ‘profane'. He swears to have his tongue torn out, his heart torn out, his body severed in twain with his bowels burned to ashes; ‘so help me god'.  These blood oaths pronounced by his 'most solemn oath' have placed a self-invoked curse on various parts of the body to be shared and suffered by his family for generations.

With the blindfold removed the Christian finds himself kneeling before the Masonic altar where he will kiss the Bible on this altar to seal these oaths. What he doesn't realize is that the square and compass emblems of Freemasonry rest on this Bible to supercede Biblical authority.  The Bible he sees is only a ‘moveable piece of furniture' that can be replaced by any other holy book. 

Prayers are offered to the Great Architect of the Universe, but they must not end in the name of Jesus, as the Great Architect of the Universe is not the God of Jew or Christian. 

He is taught that he can earn his way to heaven by his ‘good works' without Jesus and stand before the ‘Great White Throne Judgment' found in Revelations to receive his ‘just reward'. Does he not realize that this great white throne judgment is a judgment of the damned? Rev. 20:11.

Now in covenant with darkness there are serious spiritual consequences for Masons, their families and the church. God proclaims a ‘curse to the 3rd and 4th generation.' Num. 14:18; Deut. 5:9. Masons, their children and their grandchildren suffer physical, mental and spiritual consequence until the bondages are broken. 

In August of 2002 I received a letter from John McElheran of Red Deer, Alberta. With his permission I am circulating this letter which shares his concern for the churches of Red Deer. Many churches have chosen to ignore the conditions he had illustrated, which has left them and their members open to the influence of Freemasonry. Specifically that of witchcraft in its various forms to include Satanism.

There is a fear in many churches where Masonic influence competes with God's Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Christian and Masonic forces have been in constant battle for hundreds of years seeking Christian loyalty and their commitment. In 1926 the Supreme Council of the Thirty-Third Degree out of Charleston, SC issued an order in its publication, the ‘New Age Magazine'. It called for Masons to join the Protestant churches of North America to liberalize and vitalize the church. Since then Masons have gravitated towards leadership positions wherever possible to control and direct church affairs under Masonic dictate.

Every denomination was targeted, few escaped some form of infiltration whether seen or unseen. Many pastors being led to stand against this dark presence in the church have come under fear of various threats. Some are dismissed from the pulpit. Pastors need the church to come around them. No man can or should have to battle these forces alone. Under Masonic influence there are pastors from almost every denomination who have become Masons. In the US Southern Baptist Church, 40% of the pastors became Masons. Does this please God when we give place to the devil in our lives and our churches?

Unknown to the vast majority of Masons who occupy the first three degrees, Freemasonry pledges its allegiance to the Luciferian doctrine in the upper degrees committed to the service of Lucifer. The rites of Freemasonry brings the Christian into a covenant relationship with Lucifer, the Great Architect of the Universe. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways having given heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. James 1:8; 1 Tim. 4.1. To these who are defiled, even their mind and conscience are defiled having their conscience seared as with a hot iron. Titus 1:15; 1 Tim. 4:2. 

Once the Christian has been spiritually compromised into the service of darkness the church can be destroyed from within through this influence on its members. As a result, every church failing to take Biblical instruction according to God's Word in this matter becomes vulnerable to the sway of witchcraft and Satanism, often being unaware of the source of its problems. 

To complete the third degree and become a Master Mason, I was blindfolded, symbolically murdered by a blow to the head and buried. My grave being uncovered, the Worshipful Master using the ‘strong grip of the lion's paw' brought me up out of the grave to be ‘raised' back to life as a ‘newly initiated Master Mason'. This was my Masonic baptism. 

As a Christian I had taken a new master into my life and into my church. Matt. 6:24. Through willful disobedience by entering into the secret and idolatrous things of darkness contrary to the Word of God, I received a veil upon my mind as a spiritual consequence. My new master would not tolerate things of the Holy Spirit as I joined in fellowship with other Masons in the church. 

Every Christian who has undergone this Masonic baptism needs to be re-baptized due to the power of the covenant established superceding his baptism to our Lord. ‘Broad is the way that leads to destruction'. Matt. 7:13 - 14. 

When a Mason enters into covenant relationship with darkness he takes a curse upon himself and his family for generations. The spiritual veil over his mind becomes a barrier to God's Word making it difficult for him to discern truth from deception. Prayers are effective for the Mason. 

There are also prayers to deal with the generational effects of Freemasonry that the descendants of Masons typically experience. Churches currently resisting Masonic incursion, others removing Masonic influence have come to experience God's presence and His blessing.  We know God loves those caught up into Masonic bondage.  His desire is for all of us to be free.  You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
